Last updated: 2026. This page explains what happens to the clips and information you provide when you use Shortszilla.

What we process

When you paste a video link or upload a clip, Shortszilla downloads or receives that file on its backend server solely to build the ranking video you requested - trimming it, adding overlays, and merging it with your other clips.

How long we keep it

Uploaded clips, downloaded clips, and the final rendered video are automatically deleted within about 24 hours of processing (sooner if storage space is running low). We don't keep a permanent copy of your clips or finished videos.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account, email address, or payment information to use the tool.
• We don't sell or share your clips with third parties.
• We don't use your clips to train any model.

Third-party content

Shortszilla lets you paste links to videos hosted on other platforms (such as TikTok) so they can be downloaded and included in your ranking video. You're responsible for having the right to use any clip you submit. See our About page for more on how the tool works.

Backend infrastructure

Processing may run on one or more third-party cloud hosting providers (for example, Hugging Face Spaces or Google Cloud Run). Standard server logs (such as IP address and request timestamps) may be retained briefly by those providers for security and abuse prevention, subject to their own policies.
